The presence of FontanaArte at Euroluce has featured e a prestigious lighting collection designed to a high technical and aesthetic level that results from working in collaboration with designers of international renown.

The 2015 collection perfectly illustrates the FontanaArte philosophy: the aspiration to create technologically advanced objects that are beautiful and functional, and are centred on users and how they coexist with lighting.

The collection is rich in new ideas that are unique and prestigious thanks to the collaborative work with designers of international acclaim.

The main protagonist is a range of lamps that are all based on LEDs and are suitable for contract / hospitality, retail, office, and residential use. They include two particularly interesting task lighting proposals: Kinx by Karim Rashid and Volée by Odo Fioravanti: these take a strongly technical approach that makes possible the total management of lighting.

There are also new LED versions of lamps that are part of the history of FontanaArte: Parola, first designed in 1980 by Gae Aulenti and now re-proposed in a new suspension version; Riga by Paolo Zani; and the more recent Cheshire by GamFratesi and Lunaire by Ferréol Babin.

The creative use of glass by Matti Klenell, Sebastian Herkner, Marcello Ziliani, and Giorgio Biscaro marks a return to the origins of FontanaArte, which was first set up in 1932 as the artistic division of a glassmaking company. The collections of earlier years used different materials in combination, but today glass has once again returned to its central role as the main component.

Moreover the new lamps by Carlo Colombo, Claesson Koivisto Rune, Giulio Iacchetti, and Matteo Nunziati interpret the best of contemporary design in ways that enable the elegance of richly fascinating spaces to be lit in the most effective way, whilst also meeting the most imaginative technical requirements of the lighting designer.
