Alberto Zecchini

Architect since 1996, he immediately began working with Pierluigi Nicolin, first at his firm and later in teaching: from 1998 at the Faculty of Architecture, from 2003 at the Faculty of Design at the Milan Polytechnic.
He has been working as a freelance architect since 1998, initially in residential architecture, with understated, low environmental impact projects.
He has also pursued in depth research into lighting: from the design of lighting fixtures for leading companies in the sector, to lighting design, and experiences gained in the contract field. He has thus consolidated a concept of space measured by light, guaranteeing at the same time visual quality and definition of space. For FontanaArte, he designed the 100 Metri series in 2007.
