Marco Acerbis
After graduating in architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1998, he moved to London, where he collaborated with Foster + Partners. He returned to Italy in 2004 and opened his own design studio, exploring a wide range of themes in both architecture and product design. In 2005, he designed his first lamp for FontanaArte: Vertigo, which was an immediate success and quickly became part of the permanent collection of the Vitra Design Museum. His interest in contemporary living has also led him to engage with sustainable architecture projects, including Xeliox Energy Lab—the first industrial building in Italy to be certified Class A—and POLINS, the new Strategic Innovation Hub in the Veneto region.
