FontanaArte among the protagonists of the Lake Como Design Festival

FontanaArte among the protagonists of the Lake Como Design Festival from 6th to 10th October 2021
The spotlight on the iconic Re and Regina by Bobo Piccoli and Mano by Pietro Chiesa

An immersive experience in the city of Como, the Lake Como Design Festival at its third edition is a moment of exhibition, reflection and research around the theme History Repeating.

Palazzo Mantero, the city's architectural jewel, is open to the public for the occasion to visit the event dedicated to the theme of reissues, Mostra Re-Editions, a project that stages a selection of reissues from the vast scenario of 20th century design. The protagonists of one of the rooms of the historical residence are the RE and REGINA luminous sculptures designed by Bobo Piccoli for FontanaArte in 1968 and reissued in 2020.

History Repeating - Designers look at history, is another important exhibition that is part of this project, set up in the Teatro Sociale in Como.
A group exhibition curated by Marco Sammicheli, who has selected the iconic MANO lamp designed in 1932 by Pietro Chiesa for FontanaArte and still in the collection.
