GIO PONTI amare l'architettura al MAXXI

GIO PONTI amare l'architettura al MAXXI

40 years after Gio Ponti's death, MAXXI is dedicating a major retrospective to him that studies and presents his versatility, starting with an account of his architecture. Architect, designer, art director, writer, poet, critic and all-round artist, and founder of FontanaArte, Gio Ponti has been the subject of historical-critical programmes that would be difficult to equal. In the year in which he founded FontanaArte Gio Ponti created the iconic Bilia lamp that can be found in the MAXXI exhibition together with Biliamini and the Pirelli family of lamps. The exhibition presenting selected pieces by FontanaArte is curated by Maristella Casciato, Fulvio Irice with Margherita Guccione, Salvatore Licitra and Francesca Zanella.
