Good Design Award 2017

FontanaArte won the Good Design Award 2017 with Optunia

FontanaArte won the Good Design Award 2017 with OPTUNIA, the lamp designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune and presented this year at Euroluce, at the Salone de Mobile.

The industrial design award assigned by the Chicago Athenaeum, Museum of Architecture and Design, and sponsored by the European Centre of Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, is given to the most innovative products of the year, which are then then placed on permanent display in the Chicago Athenaeum.

The prize was instituted in Chicago in 1950 on an idea by Edgar Kaufmann Jr, curator and founder of the Museum of Contemporary Art, in collaboration with architects and designers the caliber of Ray Eames, Russell Wright, George Nelson and Eero Saarinen.
