THE ICONS OF FONTANAARTE IN PIAZZA DUOMO

Rinascente Milano showcases light up with design

FontanaArte is pleased to announce its participation in the project promoted by Rinascente
in its historic Flagship Store, an example of excellence, elegance and contemporaneity:
Rinascente Milano Piazza Duomo.

From 29th January to 22nd February, all the windows of this famous House of Brands just
a few steps away from the Duomo, are dedicated to design lighting and FontanaArte is one
of the protagonists of the project.

The two showcases located right next to the main entrance display some of the most
precious and scenic lamps of the FontanaArte collection, a selection of pieces that recounts
the past and present of the most historic and iconic company in Italian design.

RE and REGINA, the lamps designed in 1968 by Milanese artist Bobo Piccoli for
FontanaArte and re-edited by the company in 2020, dominate the exhibition with their
silhouette forming the background in both showcases. Awarded the prestigious Wallpaper*
Design Award 2021, RE and REGINA enjoy a position of honour, centre stage, with another
design icon as co-primary: the Cugino table by Enzo Mari for Driade.

The other showcase displays the most recent lamps, the latest additions to the Collection:
such as LaSospesa by Stefano Boeri, Tropico by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti and
Fontanella designed by Federico Peri and launched in 2020, all in the table version
supported for the occasion by the purity and elegance of the Frate table by Enzo Mari for
Driade.

All the featured pieces, and much more, are available and visible at floor - 1.
