On the occasion of Fuorisalone di Milano, Domus magazine has organized a new initiative to celebrate the magazine’s 88th anniversary and the publication of its 1000th issue.
Entitled “Tribute to Domus”, it involves some of the most important design companies in Italy and around the world. Fabrica, the renowned communication research center, is in charge of the project’s graphics and exhibition design.
All of the items provided by participating companies will be displayed in the ten windows of the United Colors of Benetton flagship store in Piazza Duomo for the entire duration of “Design Week” (April 12th-17th). The exhibition explores color, design and experimentation, and is open to the city.
FontanaArte is taking part in the “Tribute to Domus” by providing the Pirellina and Pirellone lamps, which were designed in 1932 by Gio Ponti, founder and artistic director of FontanaArte and founder of Domus magazine in 1928.
